Yes, parents are welcome to come by and watch camp at any time. We recommend parents coming during the night session when games will be going on.
Where will check in be?
Check in will be at the front entrance of the Lake Forest College Sports & Recreation Center (555 North Sheridan Road, Lake Forest, IL, 60045).
How are the boys grouped for games, drills, etc.?
We organize the campers by grade.
Who is on your staff?
Our staff is filled with the Lake Forest College Men’s Basketball Coaching staff along with members of the Lake Forest College Men’s Basketball team. Additionally, there will be other college basketball coaches & players working camp.
My son may have a baseball game or two during camp. Is it OK for us to take him out of camp for a few hours to play baseball?
Yes, all that you will need to do is communicate that with Ryan Davis so that he can sign you son in and out of camp.
What time should commuters arrive each day?
Sunday: Commuters should arrive for check-in between 3:30 – 4:30 pm.
Monday-Wednesday: Commuters should arrive to the Sports Center between 8:30 – 9 am.
What should my son bring with him to camp?
For overnight Campers: Athletic equipment (Socks, basketball shoes, shorts, shirts), sweatshirt & sweatpants, personal hygiene articles, bedding and linens, fan (if you want), alarm clock.
Is there security in the dorms and or through the camp?
Yes, with an 8:1 player to coach ratio, there will be a coach responsible for each camper. In the dorms, there are 4 quads in a row with a single dorm on either side of the row. In these single rooms will be a coach. Additionally, there will be coaches in the courtyard area during all breaks and late evenings.
Will there be a certified trainer on site?
Yes, there will be a certified trainer on site at all times during camp.
